About me
I have over three years commercial experience with developing enterprise-grade full-stack applications for small to large businesses. I've worked for SPAR, one of the UK's largest convenience retailers, and VisionMedia Networks, the UK's leading TV channel provider for dental and veterinary practices.
I create rich web apps with focus on excellent user experience (UX) for features such as editing business data in your system, CRM, accounting, interactive reports, invoicing, and ERP, which can automate and streamline your mundane business management tasks.
I stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in order to provide the most efficient and modern solutions to your problems.
I am one of the core developers of the Qooxdoo project, a free and open-source JavaScript framework and GUI library which I've made vast contributions to.
My extra skill is OpenGL, which I can use to create visuals/graphics for your application.

My Projects
1. SPAR UK
(employed via Zenesis Ltd)
I contributed to the upgrade of SPAR's bespoke business management software, a web service which used Qooxdoo + NodeJS + MongoDB + Java. This replaced their legacy application written in Delphi.
I helped create a new, modern user interface and worked on ERP, trade supplier and customer management, stock products management, QA dashboard, food auditing, accounts, reports, and invoicing.
Overall, this project allowed the company to centralize its data within a single source of truth.

2. VisionMedia Networks Ltd (SmileVision)

I helped upgrade the web applications for VisionMedia, a company which provides TV set-top boxes to dental and veterinary practices which play out videos to patients. These apps used Qooxdoo + NodeJS + MongoDB + Java and included an app used by the practice staff to manage the service, and an app used by the company to administrate their business and perform CRM.
I have overhauled the system where the dental/vet staff can email videos or leaflets with information about treatments to patients. I created a modern UI where the user can select leaflets from a folder and customize the color theme in the leaflet before sending it.
I've also introduced a system that allowed non-technical users to remotely diagnose issues with the TV set-top boxes in the practices, which relieved additional responsibilities from the technical staff in the company and saved time and money overall.

3. Pomidor
(Link, GitHub)Pomidor is my own web app which I've originally created for a community farm for managing tasks related to running the farm. A demo of this app is now available online. It uses ReactJS + TailWind CSS + NodeJS + MongoDB and is designed to work for both desktop and mobile devices.
Users can create tasks which can exist in either of the three columns: "To Do", "In Progress", or "Done". Users can search tasks and assign them to other users. This app also contains an admin control panel, where you can view all the users registered in the system and perform tasks such as adding/removing users manually.
Thanks to this app, it became easier for people to know what needed doing at the farm and to share information.
